Production Groups

The brief set for all groups was to produce the opening sequence of a new Vampire film for the appropriate target audience using, extending or adapting the conventions of the Vampire genre.

A range of approaches were adopted from traditional horror through to comedy. The process gave limits but encouraged original thinking and rewarded technical delivery, creative use of conventions and developed understanding of the genre, form and processes. All groups were broadly mixed ability.

All groups have completed the preliminary exercise and the work they have submitted is there own. A range of equipment was used, the majority of groups had access to their own camera equipment though some borrowed lighting, tracks and tripods.

All groups edited using iMovie11 on iMacs and some also used Garageband for their sound post production.
